COLT STUDIO on FIlm, Video and DVD

Colt Studio originally released all films in "Film (Loop)" format (8mm/Super8). With the introduction of video, these original Films were also released on Video (VHS/Beta) and later re-released on various Compilation Tapes (Best of Colt, and others). Video also brought the BUCKSHOT line of Colt Studio, primarily to handle all new Film/Video productions. No "Film" formats (8mm/Super8) are known to be released from the BUCKSHOT line, though the shorter "Loop" style time length was maintained throughout this era. With the introduction of the DVD format, many Compilations were re-released. The addition of DVD only compilations, mixing original Colt Film and BUCKSHOT productions followed. This release structure has allowed for some productions being re-released on several compilations with others being released on one or none.
