Directing since 1984. In 1985, partner in California Dream Machine, which produced two films both directed by St John. Later became a founding partner of Tribal Pulse Productions. In 2004, became a co-founder of Euros Films out of the Czech Republic, while still accepting various directing assingments, mostly with Pacific Sun Entertainment.
